Friends

I was challenged at Scrapbook Challenges  to make a layout with the letters in my name and all the letters in my name ment something that you would add to the layout. I was not sure I could pull it off but I do like what it turned out to be, and it did make me use things I normally wouldn't.

The title is friend and I don't have a picture at this moment that will fit what I want the meaning on the page to be so I used a picture from a card.

I found a baby picture of me and I thought it would be a great addition to my early album.

I put paper over some of the journaling to much info for the internet.

Mom

I don't know how many people get to go do things with there mom, but I love to. We go out at least once a week, to were ever we need to go.

My mom means the world to me and I don't care who knows. I made a scrapbook page with her being the star on it for my book of me.

Scrapbooking Crop

I went to a crop last night and we had a great time. I did more talking then working on my cruise LOs but it was just fun to get out.

This is Bonnie and me.

Here are the two LOs I did. I'm getting all the pictures on paper and the 4 of us are going to do the journaling together. I have two more pages started, hopfully it won't be long till the next crop so I can get them done.

Here are a couple layouts I have used ribbon on.

Two sizes of ribbon put ontop of each other.

Pocket page layout for my homemade cards that I get. The ribbon was used to add color and a line to show me were my cards go.

Its was so much fun going back 4 year and remembering how little the kids were. They are growing way to fast for me.

Crop to you Drop

I have had a busy week and last night I realized I haven't posted on here for a while. So here I am to share what I have been doing.

The Scrapbook Lane crop started last Wed. and we got over 20 challenges. The crop ends tonight, but you know how it goes when you have a family you don't always get to do what you want. So before I get my house cleaned (while the kids are in school) I'm going to share some layouts I with you.

Before you see the layouts I do want to say I'm not sure if I'm happy with them but there done for now. I'm off to clean now have a great day.

Digital Scrapping

I had alot of fun making a couple digital layouts. I don't think I would want to do it all the time because I want to see my layouts anytime. I did it in Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9.

I got 5 layouts done and I have alot more to do. I will share more when there done.

We Adopted 3 Wonderful Children

In August 2003 my dhs grandchildren came to stay with us thru kinship.

It was a big change for us. Ray and Chris were doing there own thing. Me and Alan were starting to get the freedom we had been looking forward to,but when CYS called we had a family vote and they moved in.

We never thought it would end up with us adopting them but there parents were not able to take care of them, so Dec. 15, 2005 we adopted 3 wonderful children that became my children.
